Paper Label has always valued doing the right thing. It is at the core of our company. With a mission to make an impact, we will be launching a new method of giving back.

For every online order we receive, Paper Label will donate 2% of each purchase to a non-profit organization, at no additional cost to our customer. Each month Paper Label will feature four non-profit organizations, with a common cause, at our checkout. Every customer has the opportunity to select which non-profit organization their purchase will support.

October is an important month for us at Paper Label. Not only are we celebrating our Canadian Thanksgiving, October is also Women’s History Month. Paper Label is a women led, women created, women designed, and women owned company. We are women creating clothing for women. When we came together, as a team, to discuss the initial launch of our new way of giving-back, we knew where to start. This month we will be featuring four non-profit organizations that are performing important work, with a focus on providing opportunities for women.

One Girl Can
One Girl Can is breaking the cycle of poverty and impacting gender equality through education and mentorship. One Girl Can provides a holistic model that empowers a girl from the time she leaves primary school until the day she gains meaningful employment.

Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC)
The mission of the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for women from all walks of life, who live and/or work in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. To achieve this goal, the Centre provides supportive surroundings with meals, counseling, advocacy and programs which nurture and empower members.

Elizabeth Fry Society
The Elizabeth Fry Society supports criminalized and marginalized women, girls and children in achieving their potential. With the right support, we know females from difficult circumstances can transform their lives – and those of their families – for the better. Dignity, opportunity and equality are the gateway to a world of potential.

Women for Women
Since 1993, Women for Women International has helped more than 500,000 marginalized women in countries affected by war and conflict. Women for Women serves women in 8 countries offering support, tools, and access to life-changing skills to move from crisis and poverty to stability and economic self-sufficiency.
