Founded by Teresa Lake in Vancouver, Paper Label was born from the desire to create something better for women — by women. Our team understands how clothes should feel on the female form. We design pieces that are endlessly wearable, flattering (without the fuss), and free from the discomfort of garments made without us in mind.
2. Proudly Canadian
Designed and developed in British Columbia and shaped by Canada’s landscape and lifestyle — slow, intentional, and grounded in nature. Supporting local is in our DNA, and we’re proud to be part of a community that values connection, purpose, and presence.

Sustainability is more than a goal — it’s built into every decision we make. We use low-impact fabrics that feel amazing and do better by the planet:
• TENCEL™ – our core fabric since the beginning. It’s made from wood pulp in a closed-loop system and feels butter soft on the skin.
• Recycled Nylon – strong, durable, and keeps waste out of landfills.
• Organic & BCI Cotton – produced with lower water use and no harmful chemicals.
• LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose – derived from renewable sources with a significantly lower footprint.
