As the vibrant colours of the rainbow grace the streets and our hearts, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge the importance of Pride Month and express our support for the LGBTQ2I+ community.

At PAPER LABEL, we believe that diversity, acceptance, and inclusion are not just words but pillars on which our society should stand. We also believe that everyone, regardless of their status, deserves to live a life free from persecution and discrimination.  

In alignment with our commitment to creating positive change, we're proud to pledge our support to The Rainbow Refugee. Through our donations, we aspire to play a small yet meaningful role in creating a brighter future for LGBTQ2I+ refugees.

Throughout Pride Month, 2% of our online sales will directly benefit The Rainbow Refugee – protecting people seeking refugee protection in Canada because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression (SOGIE) or HIV status.

Founded in 2000, Rainbow Refugee is a Canadian non-profit society and registered charity headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Their mission is to support and advocate for LGBTQ2I+ refugees fleeing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. They believe that all individuals, regardless of their background, should have the opportunity to live their lives authentically and without fear. Through dedication, they enable individuals to embrace their true selves and establish new beginnings, unencumbered by the shadows of their past.

The Rainbow Refugee's comprehensive approach encompasses various areas of support. They provide safe housing options, legal guidance and assistance in navigating the complex refugee claim process. Moreover, they offer settlement services, which include language classes, employment support, mental health resources, and community integration initiatives for LGBTQ2I+ refugees to help them thrive in their new communities.
